Florence Broadhurst was born in Australia in 1899 and lived an eclectic life. She was a showgirl, a world traveller, artist, designer and entrepreneur, known for her flamboyance. During the 1960a and 70s she designed and printed her collection of hundreds of luxurious wallpapers and textiles featuring nature and oriental inspired motifs.
